Nicola's work gives expression to things that give us connection to places and feelings, involving collage, intercutting, gouache, pen, ink in an expressive tactile way. Mixed media suits the organic shapes and textures she is inspired by. There is an influence from retro design coming from her time in textiles and childhood in the 1970’s.
